Before installing the updater you will need to uninstall the old version.
To uninstall the old version (from your windows Start menu) right click on the AR Updater menu item.

Smart Screen alternate updating INSTRUCTIONS
Screen files can also be downloaded and directly installed to your Smart Screen. |
SF Pro and SmoothFlite ML versions (Aluminuim case version of Smart Screen) |
| 1) Download the the correct software version for your Smart Screen. If you are unsure then please contact support[@]boomarc.com for assistance. NOTE: If you have a secure browser then the links below may not work by clicking on it. If this is the case then right click and copy the URL to a new tab in you browser. |
| Download SmoothFlite ML (Aluminium case) Smart Screen version for SF-16, SF-ARXL26, Xtreme and Xtreme Pro. |

| Download SmoothFlite Pro (Aluminium case) Smart Screen version for SF-10 Pro and SF-20 Pro |
| 2) Unzip and copy to a micro SD card. The SD card must have only this .tft file in the root directory. |
| 3) Power off the Smart Screen and then insert the SD card into the SD card slot. |
| 4) Power up the Smart Screen. The Smart Screen will read the SD card and update. Do not power down the screen until the update is complete. |
| 5) After the update is complete then power off the Smart Screen and remove the SD card. |
| 6) Repower the screen and all should be updated. |

| 2) Unzip and copy to a micro SD card. The SD card must have only this .tft file in the root directory. |
| 3) Power off the Smart Screen and carefully open the plastic case of the Smart Screen. The SD card slot is located inside the case. |
| 4) Insert the SD card into the SD card slot. |
| 5) Power up the Smart Screen (WARNING be careful not to short any power connections). The Smart Screen will read the SD card and update. Do not power down the screen until the update is complete. |
| 6) After the update is complete then power off the Smart Screen and remove the SD card. |
| 7) Repower the screen and all should be updated. Carefully Re assemble the plastic case. Do not over tighten the 4 screws. |
